• Please remember. It is critical that you do not hold inventory from a different "territory" in your store or case. Example: California holding any PM1's, 2's, 3's, 5's, 6's. Tucson Holding any PM4's, PH1's, PH2's. Of course, there are a couple of exceptions to this. If you have a customer who wants to view/purchase any item and it is outside of your territory, you can request the item. If the item has sat for more than 5 business days, please return the item(s) back to Chorost&Co. at PC or the store the item(s) came from. For legal reasons, we cannot have opposite territories merchandise sitting in your store.

• If your sales aren't run through the Shopify app on your tablets, we cannot guarantee commission will be paid out. If anyone has any questions, please reach out!

We just want to clarify some things so Chorost & Co. sales and procedures run smoothly. Please remember that PMR and Chorost & Co. are two separate companies. If you have any issues regarding pricing, inventory, customer service issues, please reach out to Melissa Adamo. She is always available and ready to help. If you have issues regarding the Shopify Point of Sale app, running a sale through, Store Center, etc... Reach out to me. I am also available and ready to help. If you can't get a hold of Melissa, you can also call me. Both of us are available Monday through Saturday to assist you and make sure Chorost & Co. sales run smoothly. We want you to succeed and our customers to be satisfied. If you don't reach out to us we can't help you. 
One more thing **If you are in the process of selling an item and the item does not show up in Shopify, here's what you should do. Evaluate if your customer will be patient enough to reach out to us to fix the issue. If they are, reach out to us. If not, run the sale as a "custom sale". If you're not familiar with that, reach out to me and I can show you. If you run a "custom sale", please contact either Melissa or myself immediately after your customer leaves so we can be sure the item doesn't sell on another platform.**

• Posted August 17th, 2023 - Hi, all!! Chorost & Co. has begun the process of planning and swapping out all inventory for the stores. As you are receiving new inventory and boxes, it is very important that you do NOT stick tags on the boxes. It creates an unnecessary expense by destroying the boxes and makes them unacceptable for giving to customers. I will touch base with all of all of you as items are being sent out with instructions on how to tag your them.

Posted June 13th, 2023 - If you are a newer employee and have never used Chorost & Co.'s Store Center to request jewelry or other tasks, here are the instructions.

On the home page of chorostandco.com, scroll to the bottom, click on store center, the username is your first name, the password is pmr all lowercase.

If you need a PIN to log into the Shopify POS, please message me directly.

Posted May 23rd, 2023 - Just a few Chorost & Co. updates,

Going forward, the Chorost & Co. In-Store Assessment Team will be managing the in-store inventory. If we send something to your store for your cases, do not send it back. It is okay to request an item here and there but we are meticulously analyzing data and demographics for each store to improve sales and improve customer experience. You may request items for customers to view but going forward the Assessment Team will be responsible for general inventory in each store. This is extremely important for the next few months of Chorost & Co. In-Store sales. We have some exciting projects coming up and we need everyone's cooperation. Jewelry for your case requests will be up to our discretion. Managers, if you have any concerns, please reach out to either myself or Melissa.

If you request items to be viewed, please double check your digits. We won’t track down items with wrong PM#’s.

Do not request inventory directly from another store. Always place your requests in the Store Center and we will handle it.

Managers, when you get a moment, please email me a list of the inventory that is in your store. Preferably by the end of the week. zpalman@chorostandco.com

Posted on April 11th, 2023 - Good morning Buyers and Managers!! As a friendly reminder, I would like to point out when customers come in wanting to sell an item they viewed on Chorost & Co, please explain that PMR and Chorost & Co are two different companies. Chorost & Co is a retailer who abides by their own set of standards and pricing (outside of PMR) as any retailer would. PMR purchases items for their metal values with perhaps a slight premium for brand names devoid sentiment vs. Chorost & Co which incurs marketing expenses, advertising, shipping, rent etc. There is no direct link between the prices we pay through PMR to the retail Chorost & Co sells.

Things happen, but if you forget, or get too busy to include Chorost&Co. requested items in PFI, we will require you to ship the item for us. Especially the farther your store is from Processing Center. We are on a time crunch for shipping and things need to go out at specific times. If your store does not have shipping supplies, please let us know and we will get you a few boxes for emergencies.
